This is the first track off the upcoming VERMINLORD album "ENNUI" which is releasing March 30th, 2020.

"This song is alot of things. It's about its about moving on, its about breaking a pact with a devil. Lotta things. This is my favorite track from the upcoming album that is under 4 minutes which I thought made it a perfect single.

I'm unbelievably proud of the next album. Almost two years in the making, which was a very different experience than I had with previous VL work. I usually am so full of rage, or anxiety that I just sit down and it all comes out at once. This was a piece that took work. Real work. It was an emotional experience. 8 months ago the album was 55 minutes long, and I hated most of it. So i cut all but 2 tracks I liked and started a new.

'You Never Really Cared' was the first song I wrote when attempting to re-write the album. The lyrics and melody came together so well that it was a sign. This was going to be an emotional album." - Verminlord
